We are a unique choir, started by, and intended for local people in and around Limpsfield Chart and Crockham Hill, though some of our members come from much further afield. We not part of a franchise.
Even if you have not sung since you were at school, do come along. No experience is necessary and there is no need to read music, but if you do, we provide it.
Our current age group ranges from 14 to 90+. We are a very friendly choir - come and meet old friends and make new ones. Regular social outings have included a theatre trip, a jazz evening with dinner, and a Fawlty Towers experience!
We sing all kinds of music, songs from the shows, jazz, classical, pop, World music and even songs by King Henry VIII. We normally practice 12-15 songs per term and perform most of these at various events. We have sung OVER 150 SONGS since we started in 2012. Our choir director, Graham Dinnage arranges many of these specially for our choir, and accompanies us expertly at the piano.
